DC Advisory promotes eight Managing Directors worldwide

London, 1 May, 2019: DC Advisory (DC), a leading mid-market investment bank, has today announced the promotion of eight M&A bankers to Managing Director across London, Paris and Bangalore. The individuals are each recognised for their deal origination and execution acumen within their respective sectors of focus and demonstrate DC’s commitment to the retention of exceptional banker talent.

ABOUT DC’S NEW MANAGING DIRECTORS

Nicolas Cofflard (France) joined DC Advisory in January 2016 as an Executive Director in DC’s French Debt Advisory team, after his career took him to Soc Generale and RBS. He previously executed numerous financing and capital markets transactions, and he also took part in some major financial restructurings, notably in the LBO market.


Standout transactions include advising Elivie on its EUR 360M 1st lien / 2nd lien refinancing, Looping in the first 1st out / 2nd out refinancing in France, and OMERS PE on its EUR 340M all senior acquisition financing for Trescal

Frederic Meyer (France)
joined DC Advisory in 2005 and since then has advised corporates and private equity firms on a range of transactions, frequently in the healthcare sector.

Standout transactions include advising the family office Dzeta Conseil on the disposal of Technology & Strategy to Ardian, a consortium of financial investors made up of HLD, UI Gestion and SRS on the acquisition and merger of IP Sante and AMS, creating the 3rd French homecare player, Elivie, and advising the shareholders of Almaviva Santé and Domus Cliniques on the merger of the two private hospital operators.

Standout transactions include advising on the sale of Fintellix to Verisk Incl, advising on Series D capital raise for Manthan from Temasek, and advising on the sale of Cyberoam to Sophos.

Meherzad Kelawala (India) is a co-founder of DC Advisory India with 14 years of experience in Technology investment banking, focusing on Internet & Digital Media.

Standout transactions include a fundraise for 1MG with Corisol Holdings, Maverick, Sequoia, HBM, Omidyar & Korea Omega; fundraise for ChaiPoint with Paragon Partners, Eight Roads, Saama Capital & DSG; and fundraise for FabHotels with Goldman Sachs & Accel Partners.

Sebastian Daumueller (UK) joined DC Advisory in 2014 from UBS covering Technology / Media (with a particular focus on software and B2B information/Data) and software-enabled services, advising on both M&A and growth equity fund-raising mandates and working on a range of cross-border / domestic deals.

Standout transactions include advising Hg Saturn Fund on the c.£1.3bn acquisition of IRIS Software Group, the UK’s largest ever private equity led software buyout, advising on the £475m sale of Northgate Public Services to NEC and advising on the sales of Inspiring Learning to Bridgepoint and CloserStill to Inflexion.

Gary Hancock (UK) joined DC Advisory in 2010 and since then has advised on transactions with corporates and private equity firms across numerous Industrial Products & Services subsectors, including building products, printing equipment and services, capital goods, energy and renewables, automotive, marine and aerospace.

Standout transactions include advising HIG Capital on the acquisition of Corona Corporate Solutions, advising Equistone on the acquisition of Nylacast and advising Clivet on its sale to Midea.

James Nichols (UK) joined DC in 2012 from Credit Suisse into the European Financial Sponsors Group, where he spent five years advising a range of private clients before specialising in Business & Tech-Enabled Services M&A. James currently leads on DC’s coverage of professional services, human capital and payment services.

Standout transactions include advising on the sale of Thomas International to Palamon, the sale of Southern Dental to Colosseum Group, the acquisition of Portman Healthcare by Core Equity, the acquisition of Moneycorp by Bridgepoint, and the acquisition of HKA by Bridgepoint Development Capital.

James Pople (UK) originally joined DC in 2008, with a brief stint at UBS before returning to the Business Services franchise in the UK in 2012. He has since advised on transactions across a number of sub-sectors and in particular leads DC’s coverage of education, IP services and property services.

Standout deals include the acquisitions of My Home Move by Simplify Group and Park Holidays by ICG, the sale of MPW to Kaplan, the merger and refinancing of Leaders Lettings and Romans Group, and advising the management team of CPA Global on its sale to Leonard Green & Partners.
