DC Advisory accelerates global Tech & Software growth with the appointment of Oliver Parker as Managing Director

Oliver brings more than 20 years’ M&A experience, including the last 15 years working across technology and software, and joins from Alantra, where he was a Partner in the global technology team. He previously held roles at Arma Partners, William Blair, HSBC, and KPMG. Oliver has advised on more than 40 transactions across software and IT services in the UK and Europe. Notable recent transactions include advising: Joblogic on its sale to Vista Equity, Bowmark Capital on its acquisition of Eque2; Dancerace on its sale to Norland Capital; OneStock on its sale to Summit Partners; Apax on its acquisition of IES; and Lendscape on its sale to Bowmark Capital.

Oliver joins DC Advisory’s global Technology & Software team, of nearly 70 bankers distributed across Europe, Asia, and the US, which has continued to scale over the past 24 months and advise private equity and corporate clients on 25 cross-border transactions. The Technology & Software practice covers a broad range of sub-sectors, including Vertical Software, Infrastructure Software, Cybersecurity, Fintech, E-commerce & Marketplaces, and IT services.

DC Advisory advised on 184 transactions globally over the past 12 months, including 55 cross-border deals, across its product and sector teams. Technology & Software related transactions made up one-eighth of this total, including advising: Neysa.AI on its $1 bn Capital Raise by Blackstone and co-investors; Gcore on its strategic investment from Northern Data Group to transform AI deployment and Inferencing; Wingify on its sale of a majority stake to Everstone Capital; Elematec on the sale of its remaining shares to Toyota Tsusho; and 360 Advanced on a minority investment from Bregal Sagemount.
