30 January 2019, London: DC Advisory (DC), a leading corporate finance advisor, this month announces it has hired Alexander Luycx to join as Managing Director in its Tech, Media & Telecoms team in London.

Alexander was previously at Torch Partners Corporate Finance as a Software & Technology focused M&A Managing Director for ten years and started his career at Kempen & Co in Amsterdam.

Alexander has extensive expertise in advising venture and private equity-backed businesses, as well as founder-owned businesses and private equity firms, in all software and tech enabled services on a broad range of transactions. Alexander’s experience includes the sale of One.com to Cinven, Bricsys to Hexagon, the acquisition of IT-Ernity by TransIP and the sale of UK2 to The Hut Group. This hire continues to bolster DC Advisory’s global technology practice, which now provides DC’s client base with access to nearly 120 TMT bankers across Europe, Asia and the Americas. DC has completed over 50 TMT deals in 2018.

About Alexander Luycx: Alexander moved to DC Advisory in 2018 having previously held the role of Managing Director at Torch Partners. Alexander has a strong understanding of software, hosting and colocation, IT services and networks. In his ten years at Torch Partners, Alexander advised private equity and corporate clients in the UK, Europe and the US on M&A and financings in the software and tech enabled services sector. Before this, Alexander was a member of the Corporate Finance team at Kempen & Co in Amsterdam.
