Our involvement:

  • Employees from DC Advisory UK volunteered to take part in the mentoring programme with Future Frontiers
  • 22 volunteers from across our team each supported a young person 1:1 for a total of up to 6 hours of online coaching. During this period, coaches provided young people with an invaluable space to explore their interests, discover inspiring careers and plan their next steps
  • Over the next 12 months students will continue to be supported by Future Frontiers and their schools as they prepare to take their next steps
  • DC Advisory's involvement in the Future Frontiers programme forms part of our official support for the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in particular, the reduction of inequalities

"I would like to extend a huge thank you to the leaders and staff at DC Advisory for their commitment to our young people over the last few months. Future Frontiers was built on the belief that all young people have dreams and aspirations - but children from low-income families are much less likely to have access to the guidance, networks and opportunities that enable them to achieve these ambitions. We know it doesn’t have to be this way. With the right guidance - at the right time - we can empower young people to achieve at school and make choices that will open doors to the careers of their choice. We could not deliver such personalised support without volunteers like you."

Dominic Baker
Founder & CEO, Future Frontiers

"It has been incredibly rewarding being involved in this programme and working with these brilliant young people. Future Frontiers provides a framework for people to understand and enhance their ambitions and enables people to fulfil their latent potential. Having pledged our official support for the UN Sustainable Development Goals, it has been fantastic to see so many members of our team committing to this programme and striving to make a difference to reduce inequalities and improve social mobility within local communities and beyond."
