DC Advisory advised Bridgepoint Advisers on the acquisition of Moneycorp

Bridgepoint Advisers (“Bridgepoint") is a major international private equity group focused on investing in market-leading businesses valued up to €1 billion. Bridgepoint is currently investing from its fourth fund, the €4.8 billion Bridgepoint Europe IV.

Moneycorp is the UK’s leading specialist international payments and foreign exchange business, serving corporates and individuals across multiple channels.

After a successful holding period, SOF Investments launched a competitive auction process in March 2014.

Bridgepoint engaged DC Advisory (“DC”) as sole M&A adviser on the acquisition of Moneycorp in May 2014, owing to the DC team's detailed knowledge of both the business and the wider payments sector.

Bridgepoint acquired Moneycorp in August 2014 with an enterprise value of £212 million.
