CHIREC was founded by highly respected educationist Ms Ratna Reddy, and has over 4000 students across its 3 campuses in Hyderabad. It is consistently ranked as the #1 school in Hyderabad / Telangana and sits among the top 5 international schools across India - one of the largest and fastest growing premium K-12 markets globally.

Cognita is headquartered in the UK and operates 75 schools in 9 countries - responsible for more than 45,000 students globally. This transaction is the first by Cognita and provides the organisation with a strong footprint in India.

This is the second marquee premium K-12 transaction, and third cross-border M&A transaction in the Education sector for DC Advisory in India alone, this year.
