DC Advisory advised Cigital and Codiscope on its sale to Synopsys

DC US is pleased to announce that its clients Cigital and Codiscope, portfolio companies of LLR Partners, have agreed to be acquired by Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNPS), a global leader in electronic design automation (EDA) and semiconductor IP that is also growing its leadership in software quality and security solutions.

The acquisitions will add complementary products, services, and a highly skilled workforce to the Synopsys portfolio, creating the first true end-to-end provider for software security.

Cigital is a privately held provider of software security managed and professional services for identifying, remediating, and preventing vulnerabilities in software applications. Codiscope, which spun out of Cigital in 2015, transforms the tools and intellectual property created by Cigital into a suite of accessible and streamlined tools for a broad population of developers.

Prior to these transactions, DC US advised Codenomicon on its sale to Synopsys.
