DC Advisory advised Computer Software Holdings Limited on the sale of FAST Limited to Norvestor Equity-backed Inmeta Crayon

Headquartered in Maidenhead, UK, FAST Limited (“FAST”) is a provider of software asset management (“SAM”) and IT compliance to small and medium-sized enterprises. 

It offers a proprietary service programme combined with bespoke software tools intended to help customers achieve IT compliance DC was engaged by Computer Software Holdings Limited (“CSH”) to advise on the sale of FAST, a subsidiary of CSH that no longer provided a strong fit with its application software portfolio or its future growth strategy DC ran a tailored process involving both international trade and selected private equity bidders, ensuring all bidders were sufficiently educated about the opportunity and enabling them to make informed decisions throughout the process.

Following a lengthy negotiation and diligence period, during which a variety of complex structuring issues were addressed, Inmeta Crayon AS (“Inmeta”) acquired FAST in February 2013 Inmeta is a leading Norway-based IT licensing and services provider specialising in licence advice. It also provides IT consulting for large enterprises.
