DC Advisory advised Duke Street and Baywater Healthcare on the sale of its Irish subsidiary to Air Liquide

Based in Crewe, Cheshire, Baywater Healthcare Limited (“Baywater”) is a leading provider of healthcare services to patients with long-term conditions, focusing on oxygen therapy.

DC Advisory ("DC"), led by Managing Director Richard Pulford, was engaged by Baywater and Duke Street to advise on strategic options and began the sale process of Baywater Ireland in late 2014.

The DC team ran a highly tailored process, leveraging their global network and relationships across selected international trade and private equity bidders.

Following a competitive auction, Air Liquide’s home healthcare business (“Air Liquide”) agreed to acquire Baywater Ireland.

The sale was affected by the separation of Baywater’s Irish and UK businesses. Duke Street will retain Baywater UK and continue to invest to accelerate its growth.

Baywater Ireland was a key strategic target for Air Liquide as it allows the company to establish a new presence in Ireland.
