Background

• Founded in 1996, Global 3 is an independent power generation group in the Spanish market dedicated to operate a 285 MW combined cycle plant located in Escatrón (Zaragoza), which was designed to provide ancillary services, especially in the Secondary Regulation Market
• Global 3 is the first peaker plant in Spain to incorporate the most flexible gas technology, with its own regulation zone enabled by Red Eléctrica

• A tailor-made process was carried out, inviting mainly industrial investors, to optimize the value of the Global 3 regulation zone and its operations in the Secondary Regulation Market
