DC Advisory* acted as Haggen’s exclusive M&A advisor on the pending sale of its 29-store Core business to Albertsons for approximately $106 million.
DC Advisory* also advised Haggen on the sale of 90 Non-Core store in the Fall of 2015, primarily in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada, to various retailers including Albertsons, Smart & Final, Gelson’s, Bristol Farms, Sprouts, Stater Bros. and 99 Ranch.
The Core and Non-Core sales generated nearly $250 million in total proceeds for the Haggen estate and helped find new owners for 119 stores, which employ thousands of associates and make dozens of communities better places for families to shop for great food.
