DC Advisory advised HH Ferries Group on its refinancing

HH Ferries AB (HH Ferries) is a high frequency ferry operator which operates 50,000 crossings annually on the Helsingør-Helsingborg route, connecting Denmark and Sweden at the point of shortest distance between the two countries.

DC was engaged by HH Ferries to provide debt advice on the refinancing of the acquisition facilities, having acted as M&A and debt adviser on the 2015 acquisition.

DC ran a comprehensive refinancing process engaging various sources of liquidity across a number of detailed work streams including financial modelling, business planning, due diligence, debt structuring, swap restructuring and full documentation negotiations in order to address a number of objectives.

DC delivered a positive outcome in meeting the company’s refinancing objectives in the relatively illiquid Nordic denominated debt market.
