DC Advisory advised J.C. Flowers & Co on the acquisition of UK General Insurance Group Ltd

Headquartered in Leeds, UK General Insurance Group Ltd (UK General) is a leading provider of specialist insurance products in the UK, with a unique and valuable role in the insurance value chain.

DC Advisory (DC), was engaged by J.C. Flowers & Co (JC Flowers) to advise on securing acquisition finance facilities.

DC brought both bank and fund lenders into the process and educated them on a complex asset, whilst supporting them through their credit processes with detailed financial modelling and scenario analysis.

JC Flowers secured a flexible debt package, tailored to the nuances of the business, from a highly supportive lender with sufficient incremental firepower to finance the business in its next stage of development.

The deal signed on March 2nd, 2017 and is subject to regulatory change of control approval from the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
