DC Advisory advised Kuraray on the acquisition of Monosol Holdings

Kuraray Co., Ltd. (Kuraray) has acquired MonoSol, LLC. (MonoSol), a US-based manufacturer of polyvinyl alcohol film (poval films).

The transaction will support Kuraray's strategy to expand its 'vinyl acetate chemical chains business' - one of Kuraray's core businesses - and further expand its product offering of poval films to a wider range of industrial applications.

DC Advisory Japan acted as the buy-side financial advisor for Kuraray.
