DC Advisory advised mCarbon on its sale to Nuance Communications

DC Advisory* is pleased to announce that its client mCarbon Tech Innovation, a revenue enhancement and customer experience management software provider for leading telecom companies, has been acquired by subsidiaries of Nuance Communications (NASDAQ: NUAN), a global leader in voice recognition and natural language solutions, focused on improving customer experience and productivity. DC Advisory* acted as exclusive financial advisor to mCarbon on the transaction.

The acquisition provides Nuance with a proven portfolio of highly scalable revenue enhancement and customer experience management solutions, expands Nuance’s footprint in Asia, Middle East and Africa and strengthens its relationship with the leading telecom companies in the region.

Founded in 2008, mCarbon has offices in Noida and Dubai. The company is a leading provider of innovative revenue enhancement and customer experience management software for Tier 1 telecom companies. mCarbon received Series A funding in 2009 and all shareholders (including funds advised by JP Morgan) have exited as part of this strategic sale to Nuance. The mCarbon CEO, Rajesh Razdan, will continue to drive the business going forward.
