DC Advisory advised Mitsumi Electric on its merger with Minebea

DC Advisory (DC), led by Shinya Nakamura, advised Mitsumi Electric, an electronic parts manufacturer, on its merger with Minebea, a Japanese bearings maker.  

Minebea and Mitsumi Electric are expected to grow their portfolio together, by increasing cross-selling and capturing the needs of the IoT era. They plan to concentrate their resources in high-end and niche markets, as well as combining Minebea’s motors and actuators with Mitsumi’s switches, sensors and connectors. They also intend to expand into robot-related products and other high-value-added areas.

This transaction bolsters DC’s already strong credentials in the automotive and electronics markets.
