DC Advisory advised SL Capital on the acquisition of Noordgastransport UJV

The Noordgastransport (NGT) system consists of a 178km constructed in 1975, a 140km extension pipeline constructed in 1999 and a processing plant located onshore at Uithuizen.

DC Advisory (DC) was mandated by SL Capital as the sole financial adviser on the acquisition.

DC completed a competitive debt process in parallel and achieved competitive terms to support SL Capital’s bid.

DC delivered a highly successful outcome for SL Capital despite a process with limited information provided by the vendor due to the UJV structure and minority stake of NA.

DC successfully managed a number of detailed work streams including developing a detailed financial model, due diligence and structuring to address a number of objectives within a short timeframe and with limited information.

Following a multi-stage process which included a Best and Final Offer, SL Capital entered into exclusive negotiations with NAM.
