DC Advisory advised Uniphore Software Systems on its Series B investment from John Chambers, IDG Ventures and IIFL

DC Advisory India is pleased to announce that its client Uniphore Software Systems, a leading software product vendor in the speech analytics and virtual assistant verticals, has closed its Series B round of funding led by John Chambers, Executive Chairman of Cisco. The round also saw participation from its existing investors including IDG Ventures and IIFL.

Uniphore announced this round as part of Mr. Chambers’ India visit last week. Mr. Chambers, a celebrated information technology sector leader, and influencer, has made the investment in his personal capacity and has concurred to be “Chief Guru” for the company.

This is Mr. Chambers’ first investment in a startup outside of the United States. Uniphore will utilize the funds to deepen core research driving product enhancement, upgrade its customer service infrastructure, expand its sales reach to newer geographies and recruit new talent to support its rapid growth.
