DC Advisory advises B&A on its sale to DFW Capital Partners

Background 

  • Bart & Associates (B&A) is a leading information technology systems integrator providing solutions through six primary service offerings: Cloud Migration & Modernization, Agile DevSecOps Delivery, Application Transformation, Data Science & Analytics, Human Capital Management, and Operations & Enablement
  • DFW Capital Partners (DFW) is a private equity firm focused on providing growth equity and equity sponsorship of middle-market service-oriented companies

Process

  • DC Advisory served as the exclusive financial advisor to B&A, a portfolio company of Battle Investment Group (Battle), on its strategic recapitalization with DFW 

Outcome

  • B&A was acquired by DFW in August 2024. DFW brings extensive experience investing in businesses at the cross section of government contracting and information technology services
  • Building on the strong foundation laid by B&A’s previous partnership with Battle, this new partnership with DFW positions B&A to accelerate its trajectory and unlock new opportunities
  • This transaction further highlights DC Advisory’s credentials in the Government Services market and demonstrates its expertise in advising leading government IT modernization and digital transformation services providers
