• Saotharlann Chonamara Teoranta, trading as Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS), is a privately-owned contract laboratory in Ireland
• CLS provides industry-leading sampling, analysis and fully trained micro and analytical analysts on contract to clients in the food, environmental, medical device, biopharmaceutical, and pharmaceutical sectors
• CLS is based in Ros Muc, Galway City and Bray and employs 240 employees

Process

• DC Advisory was engaged by Complete Laboratory Solutions to act as exclusive financial advisor on its sale to Phenna Group
• DC Advisory worked closely with Complete Laboratory Solutions to identify a shortlist of potential acquirers, and guided Complete Laboratory Solutions through the sale process

Outcome

• The deal was closed in 2022 allowing Complete Laboratory Solutions to expand their services and geographical presence
• 75% of CLS’ shares were sold to Phenna Group
• This transaction further showcases DC Advisory’s expertise in the business service sector
