• Great Hill Partners (Great Hill) engaged DC Advisory (DC) in 2020 to assist in selecting and executing a transaction in the transportation, logistics and supply chain technology sector
• Great Hill is a premier mid-market private equity firm targeting high-growth software companies across the digital commerce, financial technology, healthcare, and digital infrastructure sectors
• BigChange is a UK-based field service management software platform that provides job scheduling, customer invoicing and payments automation to service-based customers
• BigChange serves 1,500+ small to enterprise clients and 50,000+ mobile workers and back-office personnel across 20+ industries

Process

• DC was selected due to our long-standing software expertise, deep transportation, logistics & supply chain technology sector knowledge and our experience providing buy-side advice to private equity clients
• DC worked with Great Hill to map the market landscape and identify potential future acquisition opportunities to accelerate growth

Outcome

• In February 2021, Great Hill completed a £75 million majority investment in BigChange at a £100 million valuation
• Great Hill’s investment will support BigChange’s continued innovation and product development as BigChange expand geographically into the US, continental Europe, and Asia Pacific
