Background

• Haddington House is a Victorian design-led hotel, in a prime location, overlooking the Dún Laoghaire bay
• The property was originally built in 1850 and is made up of four townhouses

Process

• DC Advisory was engaged by Haddington House to find a financial partner to provide debt to facilitate the freehold acquisition of the property
• DC Advisory carried out an extensive process to identify lenders with an appetite to transact
• The objective of the fundraise was to purchase freehold title of Haddington House and part fund the development capital expenditure
• Haddington House received funding and capital investment from an Irish bank to facilitate this acquisition 

Outcome

• In February 2023 the transaction completed
