Background
- Parklands Care Homes is an independent, multi-award-winning care home operator based in the north and north-east of Scotland. Founded by Ron Taylor in 1993 from a single care home in Buckie, the group has grown over more than three decades into one of the region's most respected care providers - operating 13 homes, employing around 1,000 people and caring for over 500 residents
- The shareholder sought a partner to support the next phase of growth, including funding and delivery of the development pipeline while preserving the group’s strong operating model and long-standing reputation
- Caring Homes Group, owned by Myriad Group, was established in 1994 by registered nurse Helena Jeffery and her son Paul Jeffery. Since then, the company has grown to become a leading independent care and support provider in the UK with 21 homes across the country
