- DC Advisory acted as exclusive financial advisor to SoftBank on its capital alliance agreement with Seven & i Holdings
Outcome
- The transaction closed in August 2026
- Through a disposal of treasury shares by way of a third-party allotment, SoftBank and PayPay will each acquire 2.13% of Seven & i Holdings' shares (approximately ¥100 bn each)
- In addition, SoftBank, PayPay, and Seven & i Holdings, together with Seven-Eleven Japan and LY Corporation, have entered into a basic business alliance agreement among the five companies
