DC Advisory advises the shareholders of Ranger Fire and Security on a majority investment from Inflexion Private Equity Partners

- Hyperion Equity Partners ("Hyperion") is a private equity investment firm that focuses on executing buy-and-build strategies in industries with strong cash flows and high levels of recurring income, backed by strong entrepreneurial management teams
- Ranger Fire and Security ("Ranger") is a national one-stop solution for fire and security services that has acquired over 25 high-performing local businesses covering the United Kingdom and Ireland, reaching over 500 employees and over £75m in revenue
- Inflexion Private Equity Partners ("Inflexion") is a European mid-market private equity firm with €20bn under management, investing in high-growth, entrepreneurial businesses with ambitious management teams
Process
- The DC Advisory team, led by Amish Bakhai, was exclusively engaged by Hyperion in September 2025 on the transaction
- The team worked closely with management throughout the process, providing support across financial modeling, preparation of materials, process management, strategic advice, and negotiations
- DC Advisory’s deep understanding of the fire safety and security sector and Ranger’s buy-and-build model was instrumental in achieving a successful outcome for both Hyperion and the Ranger management team
Outcome
- The transaction closed in June 2026
- Following its investment, Inflexion will support Ranger in continuing to acquire high-performing local businesses in the United Kingdom and Ireland and scale its operations to become a truly national platform, with potential to expand into continental Europe in the future
- As part of the transaction, Hyperion will make a substantial re-investment alongside Inflexion to support Ranger’s long-term strategic growth
- The existing management team of Ranger, led by Mark Bridges (CEO), will continue to deliver Ranger’s mission to become a one-stop-solution for all fire and security needs
- This transaction highlights DC Advisory’s expertise in fire safety and security, built environment compliance and route-based technical services
