- Established in 2010, giftee Inc. is a leading eGifting platform that helps brands issue and process eGift cards which are distributed to corporates or directly to consumers. Giftee has a strong presence across Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam

- DC Advisory worked with the founders and shareholders to articulate YOUGotaGift’s differentiated offerings, competitive positioning and engage buyers with relevant expertise in the gift card / Fintech & Enterprise Software sectors
- DC Advisory provided full advisory support across multiple work streams including sharpening positioning and outreach strategy, providing strategic guidance on valuation, assisting in finalizing commercial construct and providing end-to-end diligence support
Outcome
- In November 2024, YOUGotaGift was acquired by giftee Inc.
- YOUGotaGift aims to leverage giftee’s international expertise to introduce further technological innovations, cross-sell its digital gift card catalogue to clients across Japan and GCC, and strengthen its regional leadership position while planning international expansion
- Giftee will gain a valuable footprint in the fast-scaling GCC region, and benefit from the innovative digital gift card technology of YOUGotaGift taking its innovative offering to other international markets
