Annual Meeting of American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) 2022

DC Advisory’s Managing Directors, Hector Torres and Rich Blann, participated in a panel during the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) conference in Dallas, Texas. 

The event brought together hip and knee surgeons, as well as those in the wider healthcare sector, to network, discuss scientific topics / techniques and address socioeconomic issues in healthcare.

Panel topics included:

• increasing trends of orthopedic groups entering into strategic transactions with larger organizations;
• how orthopedic practices are valued for these partnerships;
• pros and cons of different types of strategic orthopedic group transactions; and 
• the key terms of private equity consolidations
