• Mavit is the number one ophthalmological clinic network in Poland, with a supplementary offer in related otolaryngological and maxillofacial care
• 20 years of market experience placed Mavit at the forefront of quality treatment and enabled access to Poland’s best physicians to address the country's growing demand for private eye care
• Mavit offers includes full scope ophthalmological services including cataract, glaucoma, vitrectomy, laser vision correction and therapy and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Mavit has over 100 doctors and c.200 support staff
• Mavit is owned by Resource Partners, a leading CEE private equity firm alongside the founding family. In 2010, Resource Partners provided Mavit with growth capital for expansion of the Katowice hospital and the later expansion of Mavit’s outpatient hospital and diagnostic center in Warsaw

• DC has deep healthcare sector and unique access to potential buyers
• DC provided comprehensive financial advice to Mavit and ran a competitive M&A process including SPA negotiations

Outcome

• DC completed a broad, competitive auction process with an expedited timeline
• BUPA's Polish subsidiary, Grupa LUX MED, acquired a 100% equity stake in Mavit
• The completion of the transaction is subject to a customary anti-trust clearance
• The acquisition price is undisclosed
