Suguru Matsui

Suguru is part of DC Advisory’s Asia Access team based in London, with over 15 years of investment banking experience.

With a key focus on Financial Sponsors and cross-border Asia transactions, he is regularly engaged in deal sourcing and execution for private equity funds across the US, Europe, and Asia.

Previously, Suguru worked at Daiwa Securities where he executed a broad range of advisory transactions in M&A and equity financing for listed companies.

Suguru says: “The private equity market in Japan is rapidly expanding and has become one of the most closely watched markets in the world. As a result, deal opportunities are increasing year on year, and there has been growing interest from global strategic players in Japanese PE portfolios.
