Takuji Katagiri

Takuji is based in our  Tokyo office and has over 20 years of investment banking experience. He joined Daiwa Securities in 2002 and has worked in Private Equity and Debt teams.

Since 2010, Takuji has been a coverage banker in the Corporate Finance department, engaged in financing and M&A, predominantly in the Consumer and Chemicals sectors. Since 2021, he has been the Head of Private Capital Solutions in Japan.

Takuji has a BA in Policy Management from Keio University and an MBA from London Business School.
