DC Advisory adds third Managing Director to US Healthcare team with hire of Rich Blann from Cantor Fitzgerald

The announcement follows the firm’s hire of Managing Directors Manish Gupta in May 2022 and Hector Torres in September 2022. Blann joins the firm with more than 23 years’ investment banking experience – most recently as Managing Director in Cantor Fitzgerald’s Healthcare Services Group, where he led the firm’s advisory practice for multi-site physician practice management, across a number of medical specialities including dental, dermatology, gastrointestinal, ophthalmology & optometry, orthopaedics, radiology, urology, and veterinary, amongst others.

Blann has completed over 75 M&A transactions in his investment banking career and led numerous high-profile M&A and financing transactions in the Healthcare sector. Most recently, Blann advised Baypine on its acquisition of Pinnacle Dermatology (a portfolio company of Chicago Pacific Founders), Children’s Choice Dental Care (a portfolio company of Amulet Capital) on a strategic business combination and debt refinancing, Guardian Dentistry Partners (a portfolio company of NKP Capital) on a significant debt capital raise, and D4C (a portfolio company of Cressey) on a strategic capital raise.
