Nobumasa Sobata

Nobumasa is Head of the Telecom, Media & Technology (TMT) sector in the Corporate Finance Department at Daiwa Securities in Tokyo. He has nearly 20 years of investment banking experience advising clients across the TMT landscape on strategic transactions, including M&A, equity offerings, IPOs and bond financings.

He was previously part of DC Advisory’s Asia Access team in London. Earlier in his career at Daiwa Securities in Tokyo, he worked in Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets and Equity Syndication.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Commerce from Keio University.
